Buying or selling a home can be a wonderful experience. It can also be incredibly
stressful. I like to think of my approach as one part therapist and one part personal
coach, shepherding clients through this potentially tumultuous emotional and financial
roller coaster of a life transition. Choosing to work with me means that you’ll always
have someone in your corner, ready to listen to whatever you’re feeling, and providing
steady counsel in challenging situations. I will point out risks/hazards/resale
considerations, help you visualize the awesome potential in some really dour homes,
and guide you in prepping your home to shine its brightest in this market. And most
importantly, I will be your fiercest advocate every step of the way.

I’ve built my business on referrals from past clients and word of mouth, so my clients
are everything to me. I strive to build long-term relationships where I get to be a part of
your homeownership journey for years to come. That’s why it’s so important that we’re a
good fit, that we value each other, and that you get what you need. I want to be your
resource and advisor, to hear about your remodel plans that are years in the making,
and I want to help your friends and family too.

Whether home is a bus, a boat, or a bungalow, I’ve been passionate about housing my
whole life. I’ve called each of those home in different chapters of my life, but I spent
most of my childhood on an island in the Puget Sound. I spent a lot of time in marinas
with my dad, often stumbling across “For sale” signs in boat slips. I loved getting to tour
the live-aboard boats, and getting to see how quirky and personalized the spaces felt.
I’m still fascinated by the idea of home, what it means to each of us, and the incredible
value that getting to create your own sanctuary and sense of place can impart on a
person’s life.

I’ve lived in Portland since 2004, except for a brief stint away in Corvallis to study trees
and environmental justice, among other things. I spent most of my twenties living in a
bunch of east side neighborhoods and working in cool Portland restaurants, but always
following the Portland housing market as a hobby. It wasn’t until 2013 that I realized I
could do real estate my own way, and finally got my license. Since then I’ve been
fortunate to get to work with hundreds of buyers and sellers across Portland and
beyond, getting to share my own approach, enthusiasm and deep knowledge of this
city.

When not combing the MLS for overlooked gems, you can find me at estate sales or the
Japanese Garden, hiking, mountain biking, or eating all of the amazing vegan food
Portland has to offer. I spend a lot of time scheming about the next fun house project,
but my very favorite thing has got to be piling into our camper van and getting out of the
city with my partner, Rob, and our two dogs, Aster and Cosmo.
