Could a “Green Loop” Be Coming to Portland?

Could a six-mile carless loop be coming to Portland? Potentially. A competition at this year’s Design Week Portland focuses on just that: A six-mile green loop that would circumnavigate the city’s four quadrants and provide a safe commute for the city’s car-free commuters. The winning proposal will be announced during April’s Design Week events and will be awarded a $20,000 grant.
