Lents Development Projects Unveiled

The corner of SE 92nd and Foster in the Lents neighborhood has some major changes coming. Last week developers and the city unveiled preliminary plans for what will become the centerpiece in a redevelopment initiative aimed at the SE Portland Neighborhood.

Plans include four projects lead by the Portland Development Commission:

The Asian Health and Services Center is planing a Holst Architecture-designed, three-story, 29,000 sq ft office building to house it’s new headquarters on SE 91st & Foster:

On the northeast corner of SE 92nd and Foster Hacker is designing a mixed-use building that will include 54 residential units (at both affordable and market rates), retail space, a public laundromat and community plaza:

Also near the northeast corner of SE 92nd and Foster, Ankrom Moisan Architects is designing two four-story, mixed-use buildings that will include 120 residential units (at both affordable and market rates), 25,000 sq ft of commercial space plus parking:

The final project is a new four-story, 68-unit apartment building on SE 91st and Reedway which will be designed by Carleton Hart Architecture and include 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units.
