New Food Hall Coming to Downtown

Developer Andres Ochoa of Rogue Development is heading up a project for a new food hall downtown at 827 SW 2nd Ave. The 118-year-old building has been home to a host of different restaurants in the past and will now cater to those living and working downtown. Called “The Portland Food Hall,” the space will be occupied by up to eight purveyors – all hailing from Oregon, most from Portland. So far the space will house Aiko Ramen, Whole Bowl, Moberi, and Lebanese from Zaatar. Ochoa is working to bring in three or four more vendors serving ice cream, donuts and bagels, and either sandwiches or burgers. There will also be a bar called Mini Bar as well as seating for those wanting to dine-in.

Current storefront at 827 SW 2nd Ave.

827 SW 2nd – between SW Yamhill and SW Taylor.
