Portland’s Hottest Neighborhoods in 2016?

Every year Redfin puts out its list of the hottest neighborhoods in the country based on users’ “favorites” and page views. According to Refin, the top features buyers are looking for in a neighborhood are affordability, character, and livability (proximity to employment, restaurants, etc.).

While none of Portland’s neighborhoods made the top 10 nation-wide, the top three local neighborhoods (and their median sale price for 2015) were:

  • Foster-Powell $290,500
  • Creston0Kenilworth $388,000
  • Sunnyside $478,700

As home prices in North and NE Portland continue to rise, SE is becoming more desirable for many potential buyers.
