Good real estate is about people, not deals.
Before real estate, I spent ten years teaching kids in Portland schools. In the classroom, differentiation meant teaching to each student’s unique learning style and abilities, while maintaining consistent standards and high expectations for everyone. That philosophy now anchors my real estate practice.
Every client comes in with different goals, histories, and constraints. Some need more education—love it, bring on the questions and spreadsheets. Some need speed, and I can turn on a dime. Some need space to process big emotions or life transitions—trust, my work is equal parts realtor & therapist. I adapt my approach to meet people where they are—while relying on clear systems, strong organization, and proven processes that ensure every client receives the same level of care, attention, and advocacy.
I work with first-time buyers, seasoned investors, growing families, downsizers, and clients navigating major transitions like relocation, divorce, or loss. Navigating a sale or purchase can feel personal, vulnerable, and frankly life-changing. As a homeowner and landlord myself, I take that responsibility seriously.
My business is 100% referral-based and word-of-mouth, which I consider the strongest measure of trust and accountability. Clients know me as responsive, thorough, honest, tenacious, and dare I say, fun? (Give me tongue-in-cheek, give me witty banter, give me dad jokes, I’m here for it.) I communicate clearly, lay out options and risks without sugarcoating, and negotiate strategically with my clients’ goals front and center.
Behind the scenes, I spend a lot of time covering distance with my pup Arlo. Whether it’s a road race, trail run, weekend hike, or multi-day backpack, I always feel recharged by movement in nature. Originally from Maine, I moved to Portland in 2008 and have been cultivating community here ever since; I’m Auntie Supreme to all of my friends’ kids, and even bought the house next door to my best friends.
I also want to be explicit about my values. I am committed to social justice and stand with the BIPOC, LGBTQIA2+, immigrant, trans, and unhoused communities in the ongoing fight for a more equitable society. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported, period—especially when navigating something as significant as housing.
If that aligns with you, I’d be honored to work together.
If it doesn’t, I may not be the right fit—and that’s okay.
If you’re buying, selling, or simply contemplating what’s next, let’s connect.
